This award is not open for entry. It is a 100% public voting category, recognising it as the People's Choice Award that reflects public popularity rather than adjudicated artistic merit.
The award recognises the most popular Namibian song of the Eligibility Period as determined by public vote.
The NAMAs Secretariat shall compile a shortlist of the five (5) eligible songs with the highest verified national radio airplay during the Eligibility Period. The shortlist shall be independently verified and approved by the independent judges.
The shortlisted songs shall be presented to the public for voting through the official NAMAs voting platforms.
The song receiving the highest number of valid public votes shall be declared the winner.
