This category is for producers who have produced a recording of music by an artist who is eligible for entry within the allocated release period as stipulated within the rules of entry. This award recognises the producer(s) who has/ have demonstrated outstanding skill, creativity, and impact in music production during the eligibility period.
‘Best Producer’ nominees will be decided by the 4 overall best scores received from the independent judges vote for musical entries nominated within Top 4 categories.
Where a musical work has been produced by more than one producer, only producers who meet the NAMAs eligibility requirements shall be eligible for this award. The involvement of a non-qualifying producer shall not, on its own, render the work ineligible, provided that the eligible producer's contribution to the production can be satisfactorily verified.
